COLLABORATION: PERIPARUS ATER, 2020

Six drawings on Acetate

A series of 6 drawings each capturing 5 minutes of movement of the common Coal Tit, created during hours of bird-watching from inside the glasshouse in the garden. Hung one in front of the other facing the bird's habitat, the layered drawings are a meditation on avian time.

Part of a group show, A Continuation of Autumn, in March 2020, which was a collection of site-responsive work displayed in the Johnstone Terrace Wildlife Garden for one day. The Johnston Terrace Garden is an enclosed garden at the heart of Edinburgh, looked after by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. Bobby Niven’s Palm House (2017), is managed by the Edinburgh Art Festival.
