I've been thinking about ways to present this image, on tracing paper...

Audio rough edit - making sounds to the seaweed

I did some sonic meditations on the pier in the sea haar and made some sound responses. It was a performance to the seaweed, I recorded my voice whilst I was standing on the pier. I've then layered and played tempo and tone.

I'm working on text, this could be a kind of intro...

Inside a sea haar

Extract from voice notes:

The reflections seem clearer and so does the salt. The salt is saltier. Everything amplified. In the mist, the seaweed looks like floating bodies preserved.

My spatial awareness is misty. My spatial awareness is muted, distance becomes futile, measurements are different, how do we measure inside the mist?

For a while I forget where I am, I forget there’s the beach with the people, the water has a quality that’s indescribable, it’s glistening but there’s no sun, is the mist bringing some kind of otherly quality to it, I don’t want to say otherly because that’s too obvious. It’s a new substance, an edge, the edge has been brought to the sea a fuzzy edge.
